Our Jitterbugs Creche is available to all customers of the South West Sports Centre. We provide a caring environment for your children to enjoy themselves while you are at the Centre. Parents must remain within the Centre while children are in Creche.

Please be advised that our Jitterbugs Creche is not a licensed childcare service under the Children and Community Services Act 2004.

    • Monday to Friday 8am – 12pm for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years.
    • Saturday’s 8am – 12pm for children aged 8 weeks – 10 years.

  • Please complete a Creche Enrolment Form, available at the form below.

    • All children must be enrolled before attending.
    • These forms help us to give the best possible care to your child and all information is kept strictly confidential.

  • Bookings are essential for all ages.

    • We request that bookings are made by 12pm the previous day or up to a week in advance.
    • We can take multiple bookings at one time.
    • Please note creche does not operate on public holidays or on Sundays.

  • Cancellations are essential for all ages.

    • All cancellations must be made by 8:30am on the day.
    • Cancellations made after 8:30am must pay the minimum regular visit fee.
    • No shows will also be charged the minimum regular visit fee.

    If Jitterbugs Creche is unattended, please call our direct line on 9795 2246 and leave a message.​

  • During the school holidays we adapt our creche service by increasing our maximum age to 10 years.  The “big kids” have their own Kids Zone with age-appropriate games, activities and crafts. And they’re never too old to enjoy our climbing obstacle course!  We’ll also take the older children down to the courts to burn off some energy, subject to availability.

    • Normal creche fees and booking procedures apply.

    1 child up to 180 min – $11.55 / 8.95

    2 children up to 90 min – $11.55 / 8.95

    2 children up to 180 min – $17.40 / 13.45

    3 children up to 90 min – $15.40 / 12.00

    3 children up to 180 min – $23.10 / 17.90

    10 visit pass, 1 child – $69.45 / 53.70

    10 visit pass, 2 children – $104.50 / 81.20

    *All multi entry passes expire 12 months from date of purchase.

    We regret that we are unable to care for sick children or children with contagious illnesses.

    We are unable to administer medication.

    Conditions

    By enrolling my child/ren I agree to the following conditions:

    • Children are only accepted into the crèche from 8 weeks of age as we are an unlicensed creche.
    • I am willing for my child/ren to participate in all activities offered in children’s services. I agree it is my own responsibility to familiarise myself with the program and to advise the centre in writing if I do not wish my child/ren to participate in a particular activity.
    • In the event of accident or illness suffered by my child/ren, the organisers of Children’s Services are authorised to obtain, on my behalf, such medical assistance as my child/ren may require and I agree to reimburse the organisers for any expense incurred.
    • Although every care will be taken, Centre Staff are free from all responsibility for accidents or loss of property in connection with any child’s participation.
    • The Centre reserves the right to exclude children from the any Children’s Services program for misbehavior that is deemed inappropriate. NOTE; in the event of suspension or expulsion from the program, it is the parents’ responsibility to have the child collected immediately. No monies will be refunded for that session.
    • The Centre reserves the right to refuse any child or person entry to Children’s Services programs.
    • We collect email addresses so that from time to time we can send out information on events or updated children’s services information

    Declaration

    I declare that the information above is complete and accurate, and I have read, understood and agree to the conditions outlined above. I understand and agree that all times my child/ren shall be at my own risk and I will not hold the Company, the center or its staff liable for any personal injury which may result to my child or loss of property except for any liability by the Company if it fails to render its services with due care and skill or supplies any material in connection with those services which is not reasonably fit for which they are supplied.
