Various rooms are available for hire for meetings, cultural activities, and functions. Room descriptions, sizes, and conditions of use are designed to help determine the most appropriate venue for your function. Tables, chairs, urns and cups can be provided by request in all rooms. BRAG does not supply refreshments, Hirers can bring their own or use an external provider.
Dance Studio
The Dance Studio is housed on the ground floor of the Galleries and is used predominately for dance classes and workshops. The floors are unsealed floorboards and it has a ballet barre and mirror down one side, making it ideal for all styles of dance and performance classes. The Dance Studio is 60m2 and is accessible from the car park adjacent to the Galleries.
Studio 2
Studio 2 adjoins the Courtyard. The Gallery runs its own art classes, but this space is available for hire for ad-hoc workshops and regular bookings.
Courtyard
The BRAG courtyard is a large, open area often used for events during the day and evenings. Direct entry is available from the carpark, and access is also available through the main gallery entrance during opening hours. Capacity can be maximised in this area due to the standing room nature of the venue, toilets are also accessed easily from this area.
Chapel Gallery and Ron Middleton Gallery
Availability for gallery spaces is dependent on exhibition scheduling, for this reason hire of the Chapel Gallery and Ron Middleton Gallery is at BRAG's discretion, dependent on compatibility with programming. The Chapel is 216m2 and located on the second floor, with capacity for up to 100 seated and 150 standing, lift access is available.
