The eight-lane running track (10 lane front straight) is certified by the International Amateur Athletics Foundation (IAAF). The arena consists of a running track, discuss and hammer throw cages, javelin and shot put, long jump pits, high jump mats and public toilets. The arena is maintained and managed by the City of Bunbury in liaison with the Bunbury Regional Athletics Club and Bunbury Little Athletics Club who use the arena as their year-round base.
