This year marks the 25th Noongar Country exhibition at the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery – a significant milestone and a moment for us to come together as a community to celebrate and honour Noongar art, culture, and stories. We would appreciate your ideas and voices to shape this celebration!
What would you like to see as part of the Noongar Country 2025 festivities? Whether it’s lively performances, hands-on workshops, storytelling sessions, or yarning circles, your input is vital in creating a program that reflects the spirit and creativity of the Noongar people.
Are you keen to join workshops? We’d love to know what types of workshops excite you – maybe it’s cultural crafts, painting, bush foods, or something else close to your heart. Or, perhaps you’d like to facilitate a workshop yourself? Share your ideas and help bring them to life by running sessions that showcase your skills and knowledge.
We’re also exploring the idea of monthly storytelling through NC25. Would you like to be part of this? Sharing stories is a powerful way to connect and keep our culture strong.
