Prepare for an immersive Keeper Talk and feeding session that delves into the captivating world of Red-tailed Black Cockatoos.
Join our Keeper Team as they introduce you to our charismatic Red-tailed family, including a special highlight: our adorable new baby Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. Learn about the striking features of these magnificent birds, from their vivid red tails to their impressive size and powerful beaks. Our keeper will share fascinating insights about their diet, social structures, and the vital role they play in their natural habitat.
The talk will also shine a light on the ongoing conservation efforts aimed at protecting these remarkable birds. Learn about the challenges they face in the wild, the steps being taken to ensure their survival, and how you can contribute to their conservation.
Before or after this event, we invite you to explore our beautiful park, talk to the birds as they land on your shoulder, smile with the quokkas, hand-feed the farm animals, marvel at the dingoes Mezzie and Fire, watch Sherman the wombat, dance with the cockatoos and wonder at the other amazing Australian wildlife.
