Bunbury Fringe Festival is back from January 24 to February 1, 2025 with a new Fringe Garden location in Bicentennial Square, bringing together an unmissable program of art, music, circus, dance, cutting-edge performances, boundary-pushing theatre, high-energy music, laugh-out-loud comedy, and more.

The Bunbury Fringe Comedy Gala kicks off the festival on Friday, 24 January 2025, with a hilarious lineup of top Australian comedians. This crowd-favourite event sells out year after year, so be sure to grab your tickets early. Plus, all are welcome with free entry to the Fringe Gardens to soak up the summer vibes, enjoy a bite, bevvy and some banter, as well as tunes spun by DJ NDORSE (5:30pm-10pm) and a free performance by Feel Estate (10pm).

The entertainment continues across nine days (with a pause on shows for January 26 for SkyFest). So, explore the program at bunburyfringe.com for event showtimes and to secure tickets early. And be sure to check out 'Friends of Fringe' events around the festival times as well!

This year, the festival introduces the Centrepoint Carpark Cinema. Over three magical nights: 9, 10 and 11 January, four fantastic films will be screened in the Bunbury Centrepoint upstairs carpark.

Bunbury Fringe was launched in 2017, with 24 shows/events/workshops in five local venues - the hub was found behind local surf shop Good Earth, the response was overwhelming. In 2018, the Fringe Garden evolved, adding another element to Bunbury Fringe, with a pop-up bar, food all night and DJs to see audiences through to midnight.

Year three saw the evolution to incorporation and the creation of a locally based, diversely experienced committee to help guide the event into the future. More locations, more events, and more people - both attendees and volunteers - saw 2019 exceed both expectations and projections.

In 2020, Fringe moved venue for the first time in order to accommodate a larger seating capacity, moving to Stirling Street Arts Center in 2021 Fringe, where we were stacked to the edges with happy faces and almost all shows sold out, cementing the Fringe festival in the cultural program of Bunbury Geographe.

Bring on Bunbury Fringe Festival 2025!
