KidSport Regional Pools Program
The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries has teamed up with the City of Bunbury to launch the State Government's KidSport Regional Pools Program at the South West Sports Centre.
This initiative aims to boost physical activity and water safety awareness for children aged 5 to 18. Eligible participants have the option of free pool entry for 6 months or a 10-visit swim pass to the South West Sports Centre.
To be eligible for KidSport Regional Pools Program, the child must be:
- attending an approved regional community pool for the season; and
- aged 5 to 18 years inclusive at the time of application; and
- residing in regional Western Australia; and
- named on a valid Services Australia Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, with the child’s unique Customer Reference Number (CRN) visible.
To encourage more kids to take part in community sports, eligible children can use this subsidy alongside the existing KidSport voucher program. Applying for KidSport Regional Pools Program subsidy is separate from applying for a KidSport voucher.
