As part of the City’s ongoing work to enhance safety and reduce vehicle speeds for our community, we will be upgrading the Xavier Street and Mondak Place intersection in Carey Park.
The upgrades will include installation of a raised platform at this popular intersection.
Initial preparation works are expected to start on Tuesday 18 March, taking about three weeks to complete, before the project is finished in the coming months.
This week’s work will involve drainage upgrades, followed by new kerbing and path connections.
The City will do its best to minimise disruptions, but there will likely be some road closures and detours in place. We thank our community for following traffic and safety directions in the area, and for your patience as we deliver these important upgrades for residents.
