International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations observed day held on 3 December each year.

In Australia, IDPwD is a joint effort between government, schools, organisations, community groups, businesses and individuals.

In Bunbury there will be a host of events being held to celebrate this day.

Advocacy WA is hosting a luncheon at the Parade Hotel Bunbury from 11.30am on Sunday - tickets available via Eventbrite.

The Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre is inviting the community to stop by and celebrate International Day of People with Disability with a ballroom dancing performance from Can Dance studio dancers! This free event takes place on Sunday from 11am to 12.30m.

A Sizzle and Connect event is being held at Lotteries House Bunbury hosted by JSW Training & Community Services RTO 0305 from 11am to 2pm on Friday 8 December.

A workshop to assist those living with disability build their tenancy skills is happening on Friday 8 December at Milligan. from 11am to 1pm. There will be pizza, popcorn and information sharing in recognition of IDPwD.
