The City has made some changes to the dates of the upcoming hard waste verge collection. Like our community, we want our beautiful city looking its best for the upcoming AFL pre-season game, set to showcase Bunbury to a national audience.
All the other do’s and don'ts still apply, but please see the updated dates for every suburb below. The calendar and map are also available via this link. You can also refer to your My 3 Bins app.
- Bunbury (north of Mangles Street), East Bunbury and Pelican Point – week of 24 February (waste can go out from this Monday, 10 February).
- South Bunbury (south of Mangles Street), Usher and Withers – week of 3 March (waste can go out from 17 February).
- Carey Park, College Grove, Glen Iris, Picton and Vittoria Heights – unchanged from week of 10 March (waste can go out from 24 February).
A reminder that an infringement may apply if waste is left on verges outside of these dates.
For a full list of what can and cannot be collected, go here. Remember, there is a maximum of three-cubic-metres per household and all items must be no bigger than 1.5 metres long.
Please note, green waste collection dates – kicking off in March – remain unchanged.
