Bunbury Visitor Centre staff have settled in at Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre as the sole location of the City’s respected tourist service.

Following a trial of the visitor centre at both the Museum and Dolphin Discovery Centre, Bunbury City Council supported retaining the Arthur Street location.

The trial included understanding visitor numbers at both locations, consultation with visitors via surveys and involvement from the Bunbury Tourism Working Group and stakeholders.

Our amazing Bunbury Visitor Centre team is excited to keep welcoming visitors to our beautiful city from the museum location, and we thank them for their patience and continued exceptional service during this period.

The City also thanks Dolphin Discovery Centre for accommodating our service centre for the trial.

As part of the transition back to one site, the City is looking at improved digital messaging and signage for both the visitor centre and visitor parking.

The Council also supported reviewing the centre’s location following further development and opportunities at the Bicentennial Square precinct. Watch this space for updates on the Bicentennial Square precinct design project.
