Are you an event organiser, community group or an ideas person who needs a cash injection to get your project off the ground?

We can help!

The City conducts an annual grants program which aims to welcome opportunities that promote Bunbury as a place to live, visit and invest.

The program is divided in to four categories that align with the key themes that make up the City’s Strategic Community Plan which are as follows:

  • New Makers: The purpose of this category is to support new applicants and initiatives which
engage the community to participate in a wide range of opportunities, and
    contribute to Bunbury's events calendar.
  • Neighbourhood Connect: The purpose of this category is to strengthen and support our residents to develop a
sense of safety and connection through community initiatives in their neighbourhood.
  • Community Connect: The purpose of this category is to create a highly engaged community to participate
in a wide range of opportunities that make them feel welcomed and connected.
  • Signature Events: The purpose of this category is to promote Bunbury as a thriving and premier
destination for significant events, driving people to come visit Bunbury and spend time
    in the region.

Previous successful grant applicants include Tree Street Art Safari (pictured), Bunbury SOUP VAN, South West Multicultural Festival, Bunbury Summer School and Rotary Sail to Life program.
