As part of the City’s ongoing works to make our local roads safer, we will be installing new speed humps to the network around the Big Swamp area.
The upgrades will mean there will be some partial and full road closures periodically during works, starting this week.
Road closures will be in place this Friday, 7 February, between 7am and 10am at Prince Philip Drive and Tuart Street with traffic management in place.
We will then be returning next week, on Thursday, 13 February and Friday, 14 February to complete the upgrades, with partial and full road closures for both streets in place again.
Bunbury Wildlife Park will also be closed on the Thursday, 13 February, to allow for important upgrades to Prince Philip Drive. We apologise for any inconvenience and can’t wait to welcome visitors back to the park on the Friday.
Residents will still have access to homes in the area throughout the works. We ask everyone to please follow traffic directions in the area and drive safely.
Again, we apologise for any inconvenience and thank our community for their patience as we complete these important upgrades to help create safer environments.
