The 16 Days in WA campaign runs from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) through to 10 December (Human Rights Day) each year.

You are invited to create change during the campaign – to educate, motivate and advocate in your community, and stand up to stop violence against women.
In alignment with 16 Days in WA a series of events will be held in Bunbury next week.
Wear Orange Day
Monday 25 November is Wear Orange Day, to raise awareness of gender-based violence. You are invited to show your support by wearing something orange, whether it’s a shirt, socks, or any accessory.
Standing Together- An evening with Courtney Ugle
On Wednesday 27 November at Edith Cowan University Waratah Support Centre, in collaboration with South West Aboriginal Women's Collective and Waangkiny, will be hosting an event.
Featuring guest speaker Courtney Ugle, a proud Noongar woman and a passionate campaigner against domestic violence. They will also be celebrating the launch of Waratah’s new Case Management team, dedicated to providing essential support and advocacy services.

White Ribbon Day Silent March
Join the silent march on Friday 29 November meeting outside Bunbury Regional Art Gallery at 10.30am.
This will be followed by a service and free community barbecue at the grassed area adjacent to Bunbury Centre Point Shopping Centre.
Men Against Domestic Violence Community Concert and Fundraiser
Happening on Friday 6 December at the BREC will be an inspirational evening of solidarity featuring the pop-up choir, Men Against Domestic Violence.
Joining them is Livid Lillith, Elyse Payne, Vocal Fusion Youth Choir Inc, Western Australia, the South West Opera Company - SWOC and Bunbury Men of Song.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to local services working to end domestic violence.
