Join us to escape the winter weather and hear from seasoned storytellers and experts sharing the lesser-known tales of Bunbury’s histories with our Winter Warmer program.

Carey was a controversial figure who inspired strong loyalties and strong antagonisms in nineteenth century Bunbury and surrounding areas. He was the victim of assault, defendant in a libel case, critic of the Forrest brothers and opponent of the pastoral 'squattocracy'.
