Bunbury Airport is located 8km south east of Bunbury CBD. The airport is a modern and well-maintained facility and features include:
- CASA certified airport
- A sealed 1,015m runway (07/25) with PAL activated LED runway and taxiway lighting
- A full-length taxiway with run-up bays
- AVGAS card bowser and Jet A1 (drums) refuelling facilities
- Aircraft parking areas including tie-down cables
- Fee free – no landing fees or aircraft parking fees
- LAME workshop
Bunbury Airport is owned and operated by the City of Bunbury. The airports users include:
- General aviation – about 70 hangars and 100 aircraft permanently based
- Two pilot training organisations
- Emergency services – permanent RAC rescue helicopter base, seasonal Water Bomber base along with significant Royal Flying Doctor Service traffic
