Join us in Part 2 of the South West Science Fair 2024!

This family-friendly community event filled with science-themed fun with special guests and science fun!

This year’s Science Fair theme focuses on the two opposing elements of 'Day & Night' and features two separate events, a daytime event and a nighttime event. Both are equally fun and promise to deliver non-stop entertainment!

Part 2 SWSF: Glow Disco Party
This 'night' event kicks off at 5pm through to 8pm and encompasses a science glow-in-the-dark disco party where everything and everyone will be glowing!

Special guests include popular science wizards and children’s entertainers, Supersonic Science; presenting a never-seen-before special event alongside DJ Emma and specialist UV glow body and face painters.

The Supersonic Science team will blow your mind with a variety of glow experiments and science fun (the details are a surprise) whilst you dance and glow to the beats with DJ Emma.

Other science-themed activities include our galaxy star gazing zone, glowing science activities, glow selfie station, and more to get you moving, glowing and learning!

Come dressed in white or neon, visit our specialist UV body and face painter to get the full 'glow effect' for your chance to win one of multiple prizes up for grabs on the night.

Food and drink will be available for purchase (or bring along a water bottle to top up), along with a coffee van for parents and quiet science-themed spaces and activities for those needing a rest or some silent time.

Whether you attend the Day or Night time event or both, one thing is for sure, South West Science Fair offers plenty to do and see no matter your age, ability or skill set!

SWSF events are for anyone with an interest in one or more of the many aspects of science or looking to learn or discover something new.
