Join us at South West Science Fair 2024, a FREE family-friendly community event filled with science-themed fun!
Solve it, build it, create it or experiment with it to discover or learn something new!
South West Science Fair (SWSF) brings multiple exhibitors from around WA together at Bunbury Library on Saturday 17 August. SWSF brings you a variety of interactive and hands-on science-themed activities, fun and learning. There’s truly something for everyone!
This year’s science fair theme focuses on the two opposing elements of 'Day & Night' and features two separate events, a daytime event and a nighttime event. Both are equally fun and equally as entertaining!
Part 1 SWSF: Exhibitors Day Event
Exhibitors will engage visitors between 9am and 1pm with a multitude of exciting and mind-blowing hands-on STEM activities and demonstrations throughout this event. The upper and lower levels of the library come alive with a wide variety of science-themed activities, demonstrations and hands-on experiments with at least one science, technology, engineering or maths element including activities focusing on this year's theme 'Day or Night'.
The exhibitors' day event is free and open to all ages and abilities. Tickets are not required. Come and go as you please and participate in as many or as little science-related activities between 9am to 1pm.
Whether you attend the day or night time event or both, one thing is for sure, South West Science Fair offers plenty to do and see no matter your age, ability or skill set!
SWSF events are for anyone with an interest in one or more of the many aspects of science or looking to learn or discover something new.

Important Information
- Entry and participation into South West Science Fair - Part 1: Exhibitors Day event (9am - 1pm) is free and is suitable for all ages and abilities.
- Tickets are not required to enter or participate in Part 1 of the South West Science Fair hosted at Bunbury Public Library.
