Bunbury has been selected as the South West regional hub to host the Infinity X Career Program. The six-week program is designed to empower LGBTQIA+ individuals living in regional and rural Australia. It focuses on providing career development and exploration tools to individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, and neurodivergent experiences.
Participants will learn strategies and tools to help them grow confidence and see new possibilities in their career journey.
Together with inspirational guest speakers with lived experience, the program is designed to:
- Provide support in career mapping and planning.
- Provide tools for reclaiming lived experiences in professional settings.
- Provide opportunities for skill building, feedback, and growth.
- Foster future LGBTQIA+ leaders in their respective fields of interest.
The program will be delivered online; however, if attendees have unreliable internet or, for any other reason, don't want to attend this program from home, the Bunbury Library will provide a safe space with like-minded people for attendees to participate in the weekly program sessions.
The intensive 6-week program will involve weekly 2-hour sessions to equip, empower, and support participants in stepping into the careers and opportunities of their dreams. This program is free. However, an application process applies. The last day to apply is 15 February 2025. The application date has been extended to 6 March 2025.
Commencing in March, the program will be held on Tuesdays to two streams: Under 18, 3.30pm to 5.30pm at the City of Bunbury Library and Over 18, 12.30pm-to 2.30pm at Richmond Wellbeing.
Sessions will run on Tuesdays for 2 hours over six weeks online or in person at Bunbury Public Library. Deadline for applications is 6 March 2025.

LGBTQIA+ individuals with a disability of any age. We have two streams (under 18 & over 18).
To participate in this program, attendees must meet the following criteria:
- Living in regional or rural Australia
- LGBTQIA+ identifying
- Identify as having a disability (which can be self-identified and/or includes chronic pain or illness, neurodivergence and mental health)
