The City of Bunbury gives notice that the new Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2024 will come into operation from 12 September 2024.

The purpose of the new Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2024 is to is to repeal the existing Bush Fire Brigade Local Law 2023 and to establish the requirements and conditions with which any volunteers acting on behalf of the Bush Fire Brigade must comply.
The effect of the new Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2024 is to provide for the regulation, control and management of Bush Fire Brigades within the City of Bunbury.
The new local law may be obtained by downloading it from the City of Bunbury website here or can also be viewed in person at the City of Bunbury Administration building, 4 Stephen Street.
