The City is continuing important works to further improve the popular Austral Parade network.
Following upgrades last year to the Shenton Street intersection in East Bunbury, we will now be resealing the road at Austral Parade.
The project includes a complete reseal between Koombana Drive and Burt Street.
The latest works are starting next Tuesday, 4 March and are expected to be completed the following Friday, 7 March. It will mean Austral Parade will be closed to traffic in both directions while roadworks are underway between 5am and 6pm daily.
Residents in the area will be able to access their homes throughout the duration of the works.
We know this is a popular route for road users, including people commuting to work, so we are asking the community to please find an alternate route while these important upgrades are completed. Detours and traffic management will be in place.
