The City is inviting community members to share their thoughts on disaster risk and community resilience in a short online survey.

Funded by the Natural Disaster Reduction Fund through the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, this survey will assist in further understanding community perceptions, responses and experiences with natural disasters.

The data collected through this survey will help determine future communication strategies on disaster risk and resilience information to WA communities.

The survey will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete and will include the following questions:

  • Your perception of your local area.
  • Your experience with natural disasters including bushfires, flooding and storms.
  • Your preparedness for natural disasters.

The survey closes on Sunday 3 November.

This project is approved by the Edith Cowan University Human Research Ethics Committee.
