After two amazing years, the City’s Containers for Change service in Davenport will be transferred to locally owned and family run business, Cash4Cans Bunbury.

The City has made the decision to transfer the popular service to allow the facility’s operations to be expanded while not incurring further costs on the Bunbury community.
Containers for Change has supported the City’s decision with the change set to increase the opportunity for commercial and community groups collections, along with the potential for further job creation.
Cash4Cans will take over the Smokebush Drive site from 1 July 2022, complementing the similar operations they already manage in Collie, Harvey and Capel.
The facility’s operating hours may change, but the community can keep up to date via the Cash4Cans’ Facebook page or website.
To allow for the transfer to take place smoothly, the facility will be closed for cash transactions on Thursday 30 June.
The City and CDS staff thank the community for its support and friendly faces over the past two years.
