Boulters Heights staircase upgrade begins

It is happening!

Works to upgrade and improve Boulters Heights will begin next week

The old staircase from Haig Crescent to Prinsep Street will be replaced with a brand-new staircase allowing for safer passage to Bunbury’s most iconic lookout.

This highly anticipated upgrade forms part of the Boulters Heights Master Plan which was developed in consultation with the community to capture community priorities for works on the reserve.

The area will be closed for about eight weeks while the current staircase is dismantled and then replaced.

We kindly ask that people avoid the area while works are taking place.

Boulters Heights Reserve is located in Bunbury’s CBD.

At the highest point in Bunbury, it is our natural lookout and has significant heritage and community value.

It also forms the backdrop for the streetscapes of the CBD and offers panoramic views over the City and beyond.
