Road reseal and new kerb installation – Rose Street

As part of the City of Bunbury’s commitment to improve road safety for all road users, we maintain a Road Reseal Program. As a part of this program, we will be installing new kerb and resurface Rose Street between Spencer Street and Blair Street. The project will be undertaken in multiple stages, with the first stage being the new kerb installation between Spencer Street and Bourke Street. The next stage will be new kerb installation between Bourke Street and Goldwyre Street. The final stage will the resurfacing of the whole road.

First stage of the work is expected to start mid-October 2023 and is anticipated to take two to three weeks to complete.

Here’s a few points on what residents can expect during construction:

  • Driveways impacted by the construction will be repaired or adjusted during the construction, matching pre-construction materials (like-for-like replacement) where possible.
  • To the best of our ability, reasonable access to driveways will be maintained during construction.
  • While we will do our best to minimise disruptions, on-street parking will not be available for the duration of the work.
  • Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the work. Footpath access will not be impacted.
