Planning Development Applications

Our Town Planning scheme requires that approvals are gained for all land developments other than single residential. Choosing the right form will assist you in submitting a complete application and result in faster processing of your application.  

The City encourages applicants to submit applications in electronic format where possible (applicants will need to submit a CD for attachments 10MB or larger, otherwise email completed application documentation to records@bunbury.wa.gov.au ). Where plans are A2 size or larger, applicants should also submit two sets of hard copies of plans to assist with processing the application in a timely manner.

All development applications require a copy of the Certificate of Title to be submitted as part of a complete application. This can be obtained via Landgate.

Planning Application Fee Schedule:

To pay fees via credit card, please complete the Credit Card Authorisation Form. Please note the maximum that can be paid via this method is $5,000.00. Please submit this form along with all other documentation.

Greater Bunbury Region Scheme Application for Planning Approval

Some Development Applications also require a Greater Bunbury Region Scheme Application for Planning Approval - Form 1 to be completed and submitted with the Development Application to the City of Bunbury.  To find out if your application requires GBRS Approval please contact the duty planner on (08) 9792 7121.
