LOT20 #22 STEPHEN STREET BUNBURY – PROPOSED FOUR STOREY OFFICE BUILDING, CAR PARKING & LANDSCAPING WORKS

Notice is hereby given that the local government of the City of Bunbury has received a development application from Planning Solutions, on behalf of Crestway Nominees Pty Ltd, for a proposed ‘Office’. The application is a mandatory Development Assessment Panel application and will therefore be determined by the Regional Development Assessment Panel.

The proposed development will comprise of a new four-storey building providing 4,500m2 of office space and 153 at-ground level car parking bays, to satisfy the Scheme car parking requirement. The proposal includes variations to the requirements of the City of Bunbury Local Planning Scheme No. 8 and the City’s Local Planning Policy framework, including but not limited to the following prescriptive requirements.

The proposal will be assessed against the requirements of State Planning Policy 7.0 – Design of the Built Environment and the City’s Local Planning Policy: Zone Development Requirements, in respect of building design and appearance; building orientation and entrance; ground floor activation; pedestrian connectivity; and the location / design of vehicle access and parking.

The applicant has confirmed that the previous redevelopment plans for Centrepoint/Stirling Centre will not be progressed.
