Bunbury’s young people are being invited to create an original logo design to promote the City of Bunbury’s annual Shift Youth Festival.
The festival is held during National Youth Week in April each year and includes entertainment and activities for Bunbury’s youth and the whole community to enjoy.
This year’s event saw Triple J Unearthed winner Arno Faraji headline the festival.
The City of Bunbury and Bunbury Youth Advisory Council (YAC) want to rebrand the event and need help from Bunbury’s young people.
Youth aged 11 to 25 can submit their logo design which will then be used to promote the event.
A $200 cash prize will also be up for grabs.
The City will be holding two community design workshops with local artist Andrew Frazer on 9 and 30 November at BRAG. This will give participants the skills and knowledge on how to design a logo.
Please visit Eventbrite to register.
Entries are open now until 31 December with the winner announced in early January.
Coinciding with the competition Bunbury Regional Art Galleries will be hosting an eight-week graphic design course with Frazer.
The Art Sparks course will be open to 11 to 15 year olds. Please contact BRAG for more information.
